From Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Mizzou leads the all-time series 2-1, winning the previous meeting 45-41 in 2020.
The Head Coach is Brian Kelley, who is 13 and 6 in his 2nd season at LSU.
Lost to Ole Miss last week 55-49
LSU runs the ball more than passing it; however, they are way more effective in passing the ball.
175 PASSES TO 180 RUSHES
This could be the weirdest team Mizzou plays this year, as they dominate the terrible teams but struggle against ranked teams on the road.
They average 37 points a game against the D-1 Competition. I am no longer counting FCS games.
Starting QB Jayden Daniels 117 for 160 1710 yards, 16 TDs, 2 INTs. He also has 60 CAR for 292 yards and 3 TDs.
The RB room is led by Logan Diggs, 57 CAR, 354 yards, and 3 TDs. Daniels is the second-leading rusher for the Bayou Bengals.
The two-headed monster on the edges that Mizzou has to worry about are Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. They have a combined 73 Rec, 1,162 yards, and 13 TDS. The following six Tigers have combined 514 yards on 42 rec and 3 TDS.
LSU runs a base 4-3 with a roving DE. This is a strong LB core, as they love to get after the QB. The downside for this LSU defense is that their leading tacklers are the safeties, which is not a great sign when they are also giving up 36.25 points a game again when removing FCS games.
Keys for Mizzou: It could be a shoot-out. Don’t be worried about that. LSU gives up big games for RBs, so give it to Cody and let Brady Cook!
