Ranking The Hometown Remix Jerseys

With the Hometown Remix jerseys being unveiled on 11/2/2026, here are my rankings. Prepared to be angry. 

1. Buffalo Sabres. I love the goat head logo and the current Sabres colors. Perfect match.

2. Washington Capitals. My favorite logo the Caps have had returns on the old-school jerseys. The only way it could've been one is if it was in the current Caps colors. 

3. Seattle Kraken. Slowly becoming a force with the sweaters they come out with. Just a great-looking sweater and logo.

4. Carolina Hurricanes. Love the old-school college varsity Stormy logo; it fits really well with the Raliegh Triangle and all the colleges inside it. Would’ve preferred it in red.

5. Columbus Blue Jackets. THE CANON IS BACK. 

6. Colorado Avalanche. Very nice. The Colorado C logo is the best the Avs have, and the iced-out version used here is very good. 

7. New York Rangers. My favorite Rangers sweater and logo, so I’m a sucker for it. The NYR on the shoulders would've been better. 

8. Los Angeles Kings. I love this color scheme and logo. The Kings need to go back to these colors. 

9. Tampa Bay Lightning. Beautiful, the Stadium Series alt logo on a black sweater. The only change I would make would be a darker blue. Otherwise, very strong. 

10. New York Islanders. The best Islanders’ logo. Fight me.

11. Dallas Stars. Stars have had some very strong sweaters; it continues here. 

12. Saint Louis Blues. Good solid sweater. Gold instead of the gray, and it would’ve been higher up on this list.

13. Minnesota Wild. It’s just the Stars' old jersey, but with the Wild logo. It's good

14. Utah Mammoth. Not a fan of the logo, but the rest of the sweater is solid.

15. San Jose Sharks. Being carried heavily by what should be the current logo. Shark teeth are tacky, and the sweater shouldn’t match the dolphins.

16. Nashville Predators. I get what they were going for; it wasn’t executed right. Still way better than others on this list. 

17. Montreal Canadiens. Way too much going on the sleeves. Otherwise very good.

18. Vancouver Canucks. At least it wasn’t the 90s unis. Kinda bland otherwise.

19. Winnipeg Jets. See the previous one, but with GRADIENT.

20. Toronto Maple Leafs. I swear they have worn this one before.

21. Chicago Blackhawks. They have sold these before but have never worn them on the ice. Meh

22. Florida Panthers. Another phoning-it-in one, but with Miami Vice.

23. Anaheim Ducks. I don’t like the colors. I know it’s from the movie, but green and purple don’t mix. 

24. Philadelphia Flyers. I don’t think they even tried.

25. Vegas Golden Knights. They tried way too hard and failed. 

26. Detroit Red Wings. I KNOW I’VE SEEN THIS ONE BEFORE. LAZY.

27. New Jersey Devils. Ooooo, it’s all black. Ooooo

28. Edmonton Oilers. Ooooo, it’s all black. Again ooooo.

29. Calgary Flames. Base jersey, but gold and shiny? The hell were they thinking?

30. Ottawa Senators. It’s not often I place my head in my hands looking at sweaters. So if that was the goal, good job. If not, well....

31. Pittsburgh Penguins. WHAT WERE YOU SMOKING?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I developed ornithophobia and am now partially blind from this sweater. Seek help.

32. Boston Bruins. What do these and Boston Harbor have in common? They’re both ugly. On par with the original Denver Broncos uniforms, for the worst of all time. Same color scheme, too.
